Don Bosco Home - Chiang Ma

The Home is situated in the north of Thailand.  It provides accommodation and education to poor young men from the northern hill tribes of Thailand.  They are aged 15-19 years old and attend a local technical school during the day.  Nearby, there is small farm that aims to make the Home self sustainable.  Volunteers here work with the young men in the Home, teach English in the school and work on the farm.

Don Bosco Home is situated in the south of Thailand near Phuket. It is the orphanage for Tsunami affected children. At present there are 45 girls and 33 boys living in the Don Bosco Houses ranging from 8 to 15 years old. A few of the children living in Don Bosco Home have no family left at all, however may have some family but they are unable to provide the necessary care and support to their child.  The volunteers in this placement live and work in the home with the children.  They also teach part time in the local schools.

Arun Vitthaya School - Prachuap
Arun Vitthaya

Arun Vitthaya school is a mission school situated around 300 kilometres to the south of Bangkok. It is located in a town where many people are involved in agriculture.  The school is co-ed with 2600 children from kindergarten to Year 12.  Many of the students come from very poor backgrounds.  The school tries to give them a good education. Volunteers here work primarily as teachers.
